WE WON!
Wow! I can't believe it. I thought for sure the octupuss was going to win. I would like to thank Larissa from theknitmonster.com for her help with the creature. Without her kniting knowledge, pattern writing know how, special knit tips, and overall coaching the creature would not have made it into existence. She is the "knit goddess".

Spin Challenge
Here is my entry for the Spin Challenge. We had to make it 1) waterproof or water resistent 2)no animal product and 3)make it soft and knittable or crochetable. I used water resistent coated polyester, vinyl, angelina, dish washing gloves, plastic beads, hand dyed cotten batting, and handmade vinyl flower pods.
Did I mention I did it all on a drop spindle :)
